Roses?

What's going on with all the roses?

You might be wondering, “Roses? Spies? How does that fit together?”

In Roman times, a rose hung from the ceiling during meetings meant that everything said “under the rose” (or sub rosa) was to be kept secret. It was the ultimate symbol of confidentiality—kind of like the world’s first NDA, but much prettier.

Fast forward to today, and here we are, celebrating our wedding at the International Spy Museum, a place built on secrets, intrigue, and a touch of mystery. Roses, with their timeless beauty and symbolic secrecy, feel like the perfect fit. Plus, let’s be honest—roses are classic, romantic, and look great in photos.

We thought the rose was a fitting nod to both our love story and the unforgettable setting we’ve chosen to celebrate it in. We also might have a few top-secret missions planned for our wedding day so keep your eyes peeled.
